We do recommend that olive oil or ear drops are used for at least 2 days before the Microsuction appointment, but not on the day of the appointment. The oil will help to lubricate the ear canal and will soften the wax to make it easier for the suction probe to extract. Oil or ear drops are available to buy from pharmacies.
