Foot pain can be irritating at the best of times, and debilitating at worst, if not taken care of by a professional. At Provide Wellbeing, our Podiatrists focus on supporting you in maintaining healthy feet. You may want to have a skin lesion removed because you do not like the way that it looks or how it makes you feel, or you may be experiencing pain when you walk. Our self-pay Podiatry service is available for a variety of needs including nail cutting and corn removal.

Our Podiatry services are available at our flagship clinic at Provide HQ in Colchester, including:

How can Podiatry help me?

Podiatrists are highly skilled health professionals who have been trained to prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They are specialists in the way we walk and are able to help manage all aspects of foot care such as injuries, skin and nail problems, and the effects of long-term conditions such as diabetes.

Treatment information

Routine Podiatry

We offer routine podiatry (formally chiropody) to provide foot comfort services as well as recommendations on what procedures are best suited for your requirements.

Some of the routine podiatry services we provide include:

  • Foot preparation and physical and dermatological examination of the feet
  • Cut, file and removal of debris on nails and nail thickness reduced
  • Callus and corn removal
  • Treatment of ingrowing toenails
  • Paddings, dressings and cream applied to feet
  • Advice and recommendations for further treatment

Nail cutting

Our nail cutting service provides foot preparation and nail cutting only.

Verruca treatment

Our podiatrists offer verruca treatment to break down the verruca and provide expert advice on how to prevent it spreading or recurring.

Ingrown nail surgery

Our nail surgery treatment involves the removal of ingrowing toenails using local anaesthetic. This includes the application of the chemical phenol to prevent it from growing back, as well as the initial follow-up appointment and GP letter.

Treatments are not age-specific unless otherwise stated.
