Podiatrists are highly skilled health professionals who have been trained to prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They are specialists in the way we walk and are able to help manage all aspects of foot care such as injuries, skin and nail problems, and the effects of long-term conditions such as diabetes.
Routine Podiatry
We offer Routine Podiatry to provide foot comfort services as well as recommendations on what procedures are best suited for your requirements.
Some of the Routine Podiatry services we provide include:
Nail cutting
Our nail cutting service provides foot preparation and nail cutting only.
Verruca treatment
Our podiatrists offer verruca treatment to break down the verruca and provide expert advice on how to prevent it spreading or recurring.
LCN toenail cosmetics and correction
LCN is a manufacturer of modern nail cosmetics, and various treatment solutions are available to give you healthy, well-groomed nails and cuticles.
We offer new patient assessments and nail preparation, as well as the removal of the gel polish. We use LCN’s extremely elastic UV gel system designed specifically for toenails which adapts to the movements of the toe. Its unique adhesive properties hide ridges, deformation, and discolouration, and protects growing toenails.
This treatment can be used for partially missing toenails, toenail damage from trauma or surgery, or as a protective covering due to a chronic medical condition, psoriatic nails or vertical splits. It is suitable for diabetic patients.
Ingrown nail surgery
Our nail surgery treatment involves the removal of ingrowing toenails using local anaesthetic. This includes the application of the chemical phenol to prevent it from growing back, as well as the initial follow-up appointment and GP letter.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy involves the freezing of stubborn verrucas or warts on the feet in order to damage the viral capsule (the outer layer) to aid the body in fighting the virus. This process usually takes a few minutes and can stop warts from spreading further.
We can also provide a GP letter which requests or informs your GP of any tests, diagnostic imaging, changes in your health or medication requirements.
Treatments are not age-specific unless otherwise stated.
