Unlocking access to further support.
Neurodevelopmental conditions affect how people learn, communicate, behave, and experience the world around them. At Provide Wellbeing, we offer specialist assessments and support for people who may be autistic, have ADHD, or both.
Our services are designed to be clear, supportive, and clinically robust, helping children, young people, and adults understand their needs and access the right next steps.
We understand that the prospect of attending an assessment can feel daunting or overwhelming for children, young people, parents, and adults. We hope to make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible for you and your child/young person by providing you with all the information you need. Explore our website to find everything you need to find the right pathway for your or your child/young person.
Introducing Autism and ADHD
Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as other conditions, come under the umbrella term ‘Neurodevelopmental Disorders’.
Autism is often referred to as a spectrum due to the vast and dynamic condition it describes. It can affect children and adults in very different ways, and the profile of a person’s strengths and difficulties, often with social interactions and communication, will vary greatly.
ADHD, like Autism, affects people in very different ways and levels of severity. ADHD is a lifelong condition which may present with inattentive and/or hyperactive-impulsive behaviours that impact on a person’s daily life.
Our team
Provide Wellbeing uses a multidisciplinary team of registered clinical professionals. This can be made up of Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Mental Health Nurses and Clinical Psychologists. You can find more information about some of the professionals undertaking assessments here.
At Provide Wellbeing, we are skilled at exploring the challenges children, young people and adults face. These are not behavioural assessments, and we want you or your child/young person to feel as comfortable and settled as possible.
