OUR AUTISM & ADHD SERVICES
Self-pay ADHD, Autism and combined assessments for children, young people & adults
Fast, thorough, and supportive pathways for children/young people and adults
At Provide Wellbeing, we believe that clarity shouldn’t have to wait. Our self-pay assessments offer a direct route to understanding, delivered by the same specialist clinical teams that support our NHS contracts.
These services are available via:
Self-pay
Our self-pay assessments provide a fast, clinically robust route to diagnosis, delivered by specialist teams who put your wellbeing at the heart of the process.
Why choose self-pay?
Self-pay assessments may be suitable if:
- You want to access an assessment without waiting for NHS pathways
- You are not currently eligible for an NHS-funded route (this may be due to your local area not having any live contracts)
- You prefer to arrange an assessment without the input of your GP
- You are seeking an assessment for:
- A child or young person, or
- Yourself as an adult
Self-pay assessments are optional and entirely your choice.
What conditions we assess
Through our self-pay pathway, we offer assessments for:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Combined Autism and ADHD
Where appropriate, combined assessments can help provide a clearer understanding when traits of both conditions are present.
Who we assess
Children and young people (CYP)
We focus on more than just a diagnosis. We provide the insights you need to advocate for your child/young person in school and create a supportive environment at home.
- Autism, ADHD, and combined assessments available
- Information gathered from parents/carers, schools, and the child/young person (where appropriate)
- Assessments carried out by a clinical team experienced in working with children and young people
- Reports written to support understanding at home and in education settings
Adults
It is never too late to gain a deeper understanding of your own mind. We support you in making sense of your past and present experiences whilst providing supportive strategies that will help towards your future wellbeing.
- ADHD, Autism and combined assessments available
- Focus on how neurodevelopmental differences may affect work, relationships, daily life, and wellbeing
- Clear explanation of outcomes and next steps
What is included in a self pay assessment
While the exact process depends on the type of assessment, self-pay assessments typically include:
- Review of referral information and background history
- Standardised questionnaires and rating scales
- A comprehensive clinical assessment
- Diagnostic decision made in line with NICE guidance and recognised diagnostic criteria
- A written diagnostic report explaining:
- The assessment outcome
- How conclusions were reached
- Recommendations and next steps
We aim to write reports in clear, accessible language, explaining any clinical terms used.
