Right to Choose (RtC) means that you can choose the healthcare provider you want to provide an autism and ADHD assessment.
‘We’re a Qualified Provider under the NHS Right to Choose, and we’re proud to offer autism assessments to young people and ADHD assessments to adults, nationwide. We’ve had people travel as far away as Cornwall for face-to-face assessments. Our pilot service received amazing feedback, with parents finding the experience of coming to Provide Wellbeing for a right-to-choose assessment incredibly stress-free, which we’re delighted to hear because the very heart of what we do is patient care and being able to offer our services to patients across the whole country is incredibly exciting.’

Right to Choose Help & Resources
At Provide Wellbeing, we can carry out autism assessments for children who are between the ages of two and 18 years and 364 days old at the time the referral is received from the GP.
When exercising your Right to Choose, we will not have any direct contact with your child's local NHS provider. Therefore, your child will remain on their waiting list unless you inform them otherwise.
Should I let my GP know I am exercising the Right to Choose? Following triage of the appropriate screening questionnaires, we will provide you with a GP referral form and supporting letter which can be handed into your GP or sent via email for completion.
We currently offer adult ADHD assessments via Right to Choose. If you require access to medication, this is available via self-pay. For current prices, please contact us directly. We do not currently offer ADHD assessments for children via Right to Choose but please check back regularly for updates on this....
You can provide us with a copy of a recent school report. However, this will only be considered suitable for triage if there is adequate information to determine whether an assessment is appropriate. If this is not the case, our clinicians will need to await completion of the school forms...
After the autism assessment, if the consultant cannot be sure of a diagnosis of autism, you may be referred to further specialists. Alternatively, your consultant may conclude that your child does not have autism but may potentially have another condition. For more information about our autism services, visit our dedicated website here.
Our team of clinicians will focus on four modules during the autism assessment, consisting of various structured activities and less structured interactions, all of which will be tailored to your child’s particular level. A comprehensive diagnostic report will also be produced, which you may choose to share with the relevant educational...
Testimonials
IB, No-Scalpel Vasectomy Customer
Doctor and nurses were very nice and quite good at putting me at ease in what is an unusual and nerve racking situation. Procedure was completed quickly, and though there was inevitable discomfort I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have this procedure done.
DC, Minor Skin Surgery Customer
Dr Ashraf Ali has a very kind and considerate nature, and was able to put me at ease with his reassuring words. Michelle the theatre nurse was equally kind, showing me much empathy, and distracting me throughout the procedure. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services to others.
