I graduated as a Speech and Language Therapist from Essex University with First Class Honours. I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council. After graduating, I started out working in a small private practice delivering therapy to a wide range of clients for speech sound disorders, autism, learning difficulties and developmental language disorder. During this time, I developed a particular interest in Autism and enjoyed delivering child-led therapy in a neuroaffirming way, working with the strengths of the child. I have since developed my skills in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with the child at the centre of the diagnostic process. I love my job, as assessment can make such a difference to the families, I work with in terms of accessing support to ensure their child can meet their full potential.
I have a daughter, who keeps me very busy and we enjoy the outdoors and rock climbing!
