Dr Pradeep Sahare
Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician
Dr Pradeep Sahare is a Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician. He did his graduation and postgraduation in Paediatrics from India and moved to the UK in 2003. He obtained his MRCPCH (UK) in 2003 and his FRCPCH (UK) in 2021. He has been working in the field of Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics since 2006. He started working at Provide Wellbeing from 2008 and has been working as consultant since 2018. His areas of expertise are ASD, ADHD and developmental delay. He is also an educational supervisor for specialist registrars, a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics, and a child health examiner.

Dr Yen Lam
GP with Special Interests
I am a GP with special interests in Carpal Tunnel Decompression and Vasectomies. I trained at King’s College, London and qualified in 1997, during which time I gained a BSc in Biochemistry and studied Biology and Ageing, Neuropharmacology and Neurotoxicology. I embarked on surgical training, gained my membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002, and worked as a surgeon for eight years, before re-training to be a GP. I now work at Provide Wellbeing, performing Carpal Tunnel Decompression and No-Scalpel Vasectomies – as well as training others in Carpal Tunnel Surgery. I am a council member of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care.

Ella Crook
Speech and Language Therapist
I am a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, who qualified from The University of East Anglia in July 2014. In the past 5 years, I have worked as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist in East London, and now for Provide CIC, and I have experience in working with children from pre-school age up to secondary school age who present with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties.
I currently work within a community clinic with pre-school aged children, as well as within an enhanced speech and language provision within a mainstream school, providing intensive and specialist services to children with Developmental Language Disorder. I have a keen interest in working with children who are presenting with speech sound disorder and has also play an active role in developing intervention and services for children with Selective Mutism.

Gail Stephens
Nurse
Gail started training at Broomfield Hospital and qualified in 1989. She then went on to work as agency Nurse at Rochford Hospital and the Wellesley for 6 months before starting work on the orthopaedic ward there. She moved onto Southend Hospital in 1995 and went to work on Shopland Orthopaedic Ward and has been there ever since.
She has worked part time as a night staff nurse due to bringing up a family. She now has two grown up children and two crazy dogs. Now that her children are older she has taken the opportunity at Provide Wellbeing Clinic and has really enjoyed the new adventure.

Hannah Sparks
Patient Care Advisor
Hannah previously worked as a Theatre Support Worker for the NHS for 4 years before joining Provide Wellbeing in July’23 as a Patient Care Advisor.

Hannah Westwood-Loftus
Lead Occupational Therapist
I have been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2006. I have worked in many environments supporting children and adults with physical and learning disabilities including clinics, child development centres, nursery schools, mainstream schools, specialist schools and children’s homes. Within these settings, I have provided a range of therapeutic interventions to aid development and provide specialist equipment to meet the needs of a child. During my employment at Provide CIC, I have influenced the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnostic team, who work to help diagnose children with ASD by carrying out ADOS assessments for children aged between 2 and 18.

Harish Mahadevappa
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Harish Mahadevappa is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and has worked in the Colchester area for over a decade. His special interests are neurodevelopmental conditions (ASD and ADHD), anxiety disorders and tics.

Hayley Barnes
Speech and Language Therapist
I joined Wellbeing in 2021 as a clinician in the Autism Diagnostic Team. I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2008 and since then have spent my career working in a variety of settings. I have worked with children, young people and adults with a range of communication needs. This has included working in the areas of Autism, Learning Disability, Mental Health and the Criminal Justice System.
I work in my local NHS Autism Assessment team for 3 days a week and work for Wellbeing around this. I really enjoy meeting the children and young people and building rapport with them during the assessments.
