OUR AUTISM & ADHD SERVICES
Local NHS Autism and ADHD pathways
NHS local pathways are NHS-funded assessment services that are commissioned by a specific Integrated Care Board (ICB) to meet the needs of people in their local area.
Provide Wellbeing delivers Autism, ADHD and combined assessments through local NHS pathways where we have been approved as a provider under an ICB framework.

What’s included in a local NHS pathway?
Each local NHS pathway has a defined service specification agreed with the ICB.
Depending on the contract, this may include:
- Autism, ADHD and combined diagnostic assessments
- Multidisciplinary clinical input
- Post-diagnostic advice and signposting
- ADHD medication initiation and monitoring (where commissioned)
The exact offer can vary between areas, even when the same provider delivers the service, because local NHS pathways are designed to meet specific community needs. This means that the post-diagnostic support, such as medication or psychoeducation, is determined by your local ICB’s funding framework.
